I want some ideas what I can make from old oak flooring.

    A few thoughts that popped into my head... update a fireplace mantle, frame anything (photos, bathroom mirror, accent wall), put a few together to make a shelf for house or garage!

    I am planning on using my old flooring for new cabinet doors. Easy to trim them to size on a table saw. Depending on how thick your boards are, you could make picture frames, serving trays, trim out the top of an old table....lots of things. Look around here....loads of talented people with great ideas!

    I have been seeing people covering the tops of existing tables with a herringbone design using old wood.

    I made a bath tray out of old tongue and groove oak--love it every time I use it!
