How big is the satellite dish? If it's smaller I can imagine a lovely bird bath

I use mine as a bird bath/water supply. I took out the bolts so it can tip and drain to clean. Then I put a wedge( I use a small rock) to keep it level.

I save mine...they last forever...handy just in case TSHTF for a solar cooker. Simply line with foil and place so rays can be captured by the dish shape and one can cook all kinds of things.....from roast to heating water.

We have one of those huge satellite dish from the early 80's? maybe 70's. It is about 6-7 feet round with metal cage like dome, not solid like the dishes you see now for cable. We live in wooded, very rocky Missouri Ozarks. So mom laid rocks in a circle about 2 -3 ft high, can use less but we had lots of rocks to clear out of our new land they bought. Layed the satellite on top and filled center with garden soil mixed with river dirt and rock. Planted outstde cage through the holes with pink and purple flowering ground cover as to look like ribbon laces. filled center of dish with different flowers and plants and in the center topped with bird bath. To finish it she added two 3" hollow rubber pipes, arond 10 foot long. I think it was for washing machine drain or ran electric lines through to bury. twisted them around together and made them arch to look like a basket handle and had englsh ivy grow to wrap around to cover pipe. Huge outside flower basket. and looks nice in front of thick covered woods. and you dont have to bend over when planting or gardening.

The last time I re used a sat dish ( Meshed Version ) was a few years back. I made a barrel water feature and used the dish as the top then I placed the rocks and stones on the dish so when the water came out the pump over the rocks the water filtered through the rocks and dish back into the water reservoir...

Could also be filled with dirt & used as a flower garden.
