Stocking stuffer ideas

Ana
by Ana
I saw these in a thrift store, and thought they would be perfect for stocking stuffers next year! However, I don't just want to give my family votives and call it good, I'd like to do a little something extra. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do? Any help you can provide would be fantastic!!

If you do want to add a candle, use hand poured beeswax or soywax. Melt it, add essential oils of your choice, and a wick. You can use different scents for each person to make it more personal.

You can add some pretty rocks on the bottom, soil mixed with sand and plant a succulent or cactus. Then cover soil with a colorful sand and voila, you have a nice gift.

On the yellow blooms, you could glue small craft beads, pearls or gems on some of them--maybe fill with yellow wrapped candies or lemon drops.

How about making different wood height candle stands, adhere the votive candle holder on the top, and decorate a floral arrangement to the base, which is painted or stained.

Go to Dollar Tree and pick up some candle holders. Select some colorful beads to glue on the yellow blooms. Spray paint your candle holder whatever color of beads you use. Glue it with 6000E. Buy a colorful air plant off of Twisted Acres on Etsy. Make a couple of cute Christmas ornaments and these will be stockings you can brag about.

Add a decal of a red cardinal among the "branches" of the votive, then add adhesive ribbon along the top edge in red or silver. Finally add a battery operated tea light inside. I think that would be super cute for a stuffer.

I often use reuse candles from Glade when it is out of candle wax.. I always make a more red apple cinnamon or white vanilla scent and refill from old wax candle to fill up.. Don't need to buy more glade.. reuse it and make a porch or back yard for inviting family or friend.. lot of candles left over.... Fun to make one..
