Cover with fabric for a foot stool.

Add texture paint, tile, or rocks for planters.

Offer them to local facilities that help people in need. Homeless could keep things cool/warm in them.

  • You could put them inside a decorative basket and use as a planter. You could build a box around them and make an outdoor cooler. Or they can be turned into outdoor kitty shelters in the winter.

Cover with twine or rope and use as storage baskets or picnic basket.

Break them up and use in the bottom of deep planters to save on using too much soil.

    Do fabric collage.

Cut sides off, then use shallow cuts to draw a design onto it, then push pieces of fabric into the cuts for a unique piece of art.

If the sides are straight with no lumps, then you might be able to use it in printing . You can carve a simple design like a bird with a biro pen. Then use this with printing ink rolled onto it. To transfer image onto card or fabric to use in projects like card making.
