I have about 100 wooden drawer fronts. They measure about 6x12 inches. They have a beveled edge around the front. I have used them to do a wooden floor, but what can I do with the rest? Any suggestions?

Looks like you glued them down, and good work of what I can see ..With the size of them looks like you had 720 ft. How much do you have left ? You could do a 8" white base board around , and make a 3' ft. high wainscot with the remainder And cap the top with white , over light sierra tan paint .. :)

One thing is for sure...you came come up with a unique idea. Wow! This must have been a really tedious job! Please post a photo of the entire area! One thing I have seen on HT that I found unique was a box built to go over the door into the bathroom to use for storage! You could build a box and hinge a panel to conceal what was in storage. These can be made for bedrooms, etc. If you have an area that has usable space, you could make boxes and attach them at different levels, etc. for accent storage, say around an entertainment table.
  • They can be used as the top for a table or a bookcase. They look great as flooring!!

If you have enough you could cover a small wall with them.

    Panel a wall?

@White Oak Studio Designs I have seen this done with wood flooring. We are considering using leftover flooring to do headboard wall in bed room. Could leave them as is--paint, stain all the same or different or add antiqued painted sign lettering to some pieces. whatever works for you.

I would paint them & then make signs with stencilled letters or free hand it if you're good at it. then distress them to make them look old! people loves these signs for their home, cottage & gardens etc. Then sell them! you can many ideas on this site.

NO DON'T paint them! You could run them around "barrel" drums and make coffee tables out of them! Put a piece of glass on each one! You can make several OR you could stack 'em one on the other and make a large round or rectangular or square table, each one encased by the boards. Do you get what I'm talking about? OR you could make an abstract wall hanging like Josh Temple does on House Crashers! Such as staggering them on a big board above a bed for an abstract head board; OR you could actually (if you have enough room for a big enough back splash area) use them in the kitchen. There's all kinds of applications for these beautiful pieces of paneling. Search HGTV or DIY channel.com for ideas.

Make cutouts for pictures, then hang on the wall. You could make a collage with several and even make several openings for pictures in separate ones.

Thank you for all of the great ideas, not enough left to do a wall in this room, but I think the signs would be a great way to use them (now just to do it) lol

I ould line one wall with them as accent and lightly paint(wash), so that the detail shows through, but it will be an entirely different look, but tie in with your floor..lucky you!

Trust me, Denise if I can make signs, anyone can! They don't have to be extravagant! Start simple and as you do more you gain confidence! There are a lot of tutorials online & blogs on how to do it! That's how I figured it out. People are very generous with their knowledge & know how! Good luck & don't let fear stand in your way! You can do it!!

I have made a lot of coat racks or what ever you need to hang. for many rooms and garage, basement. the drawer front is the back board. and you can prime & paint. or distress. Then screw on hooks. I have even used cabinet knobs. Depends what is getting hung. They would sell well also. vintage look the hooks can be different.

That is quite a nice floor. Do not have any suggestions, but if you were creative enough to do such nice work on the floor, you will certainly come up with a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
