This ladder has definitely seen better days. Four steps plus the top landing, paint spattered and rickety.

Put this in a sunny corner, and put house plants on each step., or floral arrangements. Do NOT throw this out, but decorate, and you can see lots of ideas on this program. Enjoy, for the spilled paint on the ladder, will show its age, and use. Enjoy, J.

If the wood is rotting, then this may have to be replaced. You can always find old wood, to put in the frame, to keep the ladder's age, and not to disgrace the balance of the rest of the ladder. Ask neighbors, if they have a old ladder, that has bad parts to it, or ask a person at hardware store. Check out some rummage sales, for they too, may have a ladder, that they are using for display. These are some ideas, best wishes, J.

Bev, if you want to preserve the ladder, you can scrub it with a scrub brush, and let it dry, and then put paint on it, or varnish. Or, in the winter time, put it under the house, or porch, to keep it from rain, snow, and bad weather falling on it. If you don't have a basement, or porch, wrap it in a tarp, and this will help also. Tie the tarp around the frame of the ladder, so snow, rain will NOT get into the direct touch with the ladder. In the spring time, have a friend, or neighbor, get under your porch, and see if they can tie it up to the frame of the under porch, to keep it from direct snow, or rain. Tho I would still cover it, in case of drainage on the ladder. Best wishes, always, Judy.
