What can be done with leftover carpet?

Large piece leftover from redoing the stairs and also have leftover backing. It isn’t enough for a room.

    You can have it cut into a rectangle or square and the carpet company can bind the edges and use as an area rug.

    Finish off the ends and use as a carpet runner

    How about basement stairs, if you have them. We put just carpeting on the garage floor before you come into the house. Good for certain things that might scratch counters, use in the bathroom, under the sink.

    Grandchildren or childrens doll house. They would think it's awesome to match their own house.

    I used my leftover carpet as rugs for the garage (where my washer & dryer sit). Keep my feet from freezing during winter washing days.

    If you have a cat or a friend with a cat, extra carpet makes a great cat perch cover. You can also use it to deaden sound. Works great in the trunk of a car.
