Pantry storage.
You could cover them with contact paper and use for kitchen flour, sugar, cornmeal, etc. Use them in the pantry to store extra flour or sugar etc, or put holes in the bottom for plant potting. I would use them to organize all my crafts with a label on them. There are many uses for old coffee cans, maybe something similar to their uses would be helpful. Good luck!
I would use them for dry storage for anything in the home. They'll keep insects from contaminating your food items in the pantry, keep your beauty products (cotton balls/Q-tips and such) clean/organized in the bathroom and hardware (screws, nails and such) organized and protected from rusting on the tool bench. If you want to use them on the counter, get some pretty labels printed.
Cover with contact paper for storage containers, cover with white contact paper and let children/grandchildren decorate them at Christmas for gift containers. You can make homemade cookies for teacher ( church and school) gifts. for an added touch tie burlap bows. Spray paint them orange and make pumpkins, add a stem to the top and wrap pipe cleaners around the stem. Spray them red and make Santas. Let your imagination go and have fun!
Label them for pantry storage? e.g., flour, sugar, pasta, snacks, etc. or if you are into crafts - they'd look great on a shelf decorated with a band of fabric or burlap. I never have enough storage in my craft room. If you have kids they can store small toys in them (Legos, small cars, doll clothes, etc.) Just some ideas. You can also glue them together stacked sideways for cubby holes to store things. They wouldn't take up as much space and you can easily see what is inside. Good luck
Decorate them for holidays, fill with home baked goodies, candy or small toys and use as gifts for unexpected guests. Decoration on them can be as simple as spray painting them and adding a beautiful bow, or as detailed as hand painting them, it all depends on what you want to do.
