My husband refuse's to use the bar soap once it gets too small. I keep the small soap because I don't want to throw it away ( as with anything its expensive) I know I can shread it to put around out door plants to keep deer away, but I want to know what else can I do with it? ? Thank you for your help.Sincerely, Kelly

I shred mine on a manual cheese grater, add a little glycerin to it. Stir it up on the stove until it all melts then pour in an old plastic ice cube tray. Right before they are formed, pop them out, roll into an Easter egg size and let harden completely. If you want to go all out check in the craft aisle for additional scents or small soap molds. Add a drop or 2, stir and set.

`I, using little time, slightly dampen my soap dish, let the new leftover rest a bit, firmly attach it to my existing bar of soap. There you are!!

we use Dottie's method above for home. Do you camp or know anyone that does? you can put all your soap slivers in a new knee high nylon and it makes a great soap for camping and it can be hung to dry

I take all Pieces and grate them. Put in hot water and shake. You have home made liquid soap now!

An old thing to do is put the little pieces of soap into a jar with lid with warm/hot water. Shake it up to mix. You got laundry soap to use. When you are short on laundry soap this works great.
