How can I use an old serving bed tray?

It could replace another top for a small table. If decorative could hang on wall.

I saw this idea using picture frames, but a bed tray could be used too. For the bed tray: refinish or paint the wood areas. Attach wall hangers on the back. Glue fabric (I used solid velvet) to the flat part. I used spray glue. Glue a decorative edging around the edges of the fabric. Form a heart shape in the center, using old jewelry. Just glue it on with a glue gun. Strands of pearls, etc. are useful too. It is beautiful, and you can use you own old jewelry or go to Goodwill and buy one of their "jars of jewelry." Hang on your wall and wait for the comments and compliments! Have fun!
