What can I do with paper towel and toilet paper rolls?

Hi there. Cindy here. I cut them into short pieces. Put some soil in each one and 1 or 2 seeds to start my plants for my gardens. Very inexpensive and you can plant the entire garden this way. I get a few disposable aluminum pans with clear plastic lids from the Dollar Tree. I put my little seedlings in them and cover to make my own greenhouse.

Hi Yan: One thing I do with them, is to cut them so that I have about 5 or 6 circles. Then, I take a bunch of yarn, cut into 7" lengths, fold it in half, and then put the loop end under the inside of the ring and run the loose ends through the loop and pull snug. Do this, going the same way, under or over the ring, your choice of how you like the look, until you have the ring full of yarn loops. Then, poke all of the yarn through the centre of the ring and pull it up. About an inch and a half up, use another piece of yarn to tie the loose ends together. It should look like a knit hat. You can use it for a small Barbie type doll or for the top of a bottle.
