I use the lid and bottom to make signs but I need suggestions on what I can use the middle section for.

you don't really say how big/diameter they are...........frames for mirrors or pictures even make wreaths depending on depth of box cut down so they aren't to deep ;add wood to insides to make shelves;add hooks on top of insides to make jewelry holders for necklaces/bracelets;add mesh or fabric stretched across back inside to make earring holder; add piece of thick wood to inside and make tray out of them; drill lots of holes around outer edges add crystals/beads and make chandelier; add fittings to insides to make lampshades or pendant type lighting

The entire box would make a great way to package gifts. The lids would make nice coasters too.

You can make shelves with your cheese box. Cut a board to fit in the center of the box. You can glue or nail the board in place. This will serve as a shelf. If you have more than one cheese box, you could create a cluster of these shelves.
