Cut a little hole in the top, grab some pom poms or popsicle sticks or something that could be dropped through the hole and then give it to someone with a 2 year old. Kids love love love to put things in!

Pringles Can Hacks: How to Turn Clutter Into Clever Storage Solutions
with a smaller sized one, this is what i did, using fluo acrylic paints which i poured onto portions of the white primed can (placed horizontally on table, that is sideways) and let run down the sides. Now it's a box for children's secrets :)
COVER 2 CANS WITH VELVET AND FROM T . MAKE A BASE OUT OF COVERED WOOD AND STORE BRACELETS AROUND THEM, OR IF YOU KEEP THE LIDS YOU CAN PUT SOME THINGS INSIDE,ALSO COULD BE USED AS A NECKLACE HOLDER,OR BEADS. OR TOYS CARS FOR KIDSTO PLAY WITH,SMALL DOLLS!
For a Xmas idea... I spray paint a tall can, any color you want, gold, red...Wrap it in yarn while going around the inside of the can; any color again. And then I use it to put all the cards I receive for the holidays as a display on a counter or table. Did this with the scout group's a few times over the years. Was fun.
Cut several to appropriate sizes, glue together and make a holder for pencils, pens, scissors, rulers, brushes, markets, pliers. etc. I have several and use them for sewing, office and craft table tools. I usually cut them at an angle so they are higher in the back than the front. (seem to hold tools better that way) and some are taller than others.
To add to the above. I've also made same displays from different sizes of PVC. Can be designed for anything that needs a stand. (tools, pencils, rulers, feathers, etc.) I glue a plexi scrap on the bottom to hold them together and put a bottom on the holes.
I cut a slit in the plastic lid and use it for loose change. Can be decorated or just left to appear as a can of Pringles in the cabinet. I save the tabs from soft drink cans for a local church in a Pringles can.
Wrap yarn around it for a nice container to hold knitting needles!
Cut a small hole in the top fill can with plastic shopping bags use as dispenser for them keep filling as you go
sorry , I use mine for crackers
I keep straws in one for my granddaughter. Put the lid on to keep them clean
I use them to keep all my art paint brushes in!
I have one for straws and one for latex gloves. I spray painted them.
I fill it with flour and keep it in the cupboard for making sauces. I mode podge brown paper on it and cut the flour label off the flour bag for decoration.
I use them to send cookies to my boys in the military. They are the perfect size to hold cookies, and the tube keeps them from being crushed or turned into crumbs. My boys like the tubes because they disguise the contents. Nobody wants to share Pringles. But everyone wants home-baked cookies.
Store knitting needles, crochet hooks and paint brushes. Cover with white paper and label the contents with felt tip marker.
I use them as candle molds.
I haven't done it yet, but I have a recipe to make my husband shaving soap (& yes he uses the old double blade type razor, barber brush & cup) and have been told that Pringles cans work great for putting the soap mixture in, let it set up and cut into round slices.
I use the containers for holding silverware/plasticware in the picnic basket
I glue several together in a pyramid so it will set on my work table and keep my markers in them. So easy to just pull out the color I need. I also put a strong magnet on the side and stick it to my fridge to hold pens and pencils.
