I would sand it down to distress it more and paint the inside a fun color and use it for tea and spice. Hang or inset in wall.

I'm making over $12k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life. This is what i do.... http://ow.ly/Pvd430fyth3

Clean it, sand it down and re-paint it, white inside and a bright or darker colour outside.

Clean and repaint it. It can be used anywhere in your house for in-between stud storage...jewelry box etc.

We have two of those, but without the mirror that we got from a neighbor that took theirs down. We put them up in the garage. There are many things that can be put on the shelves, even though they are not deep. We keep boxes of nails, screws and bolts, small tools like scissors that are always being misplaced, rolls of different tapes, tubes of silicone, etc. It could also be used to store small gardening things like seeds, plant markers, string, anything small that gets misplaced easily. Worked great in the garage for us!

The places where I would have room would have been hard to reach for me and I did not have the wall space in the laundry room except behind the furnace and water heater that wouldn't let the doors open up very far. The bathrooms have plenty of storage already with built ins. I would have loved to be able to use them for fish food in the living room, but nowhere to put them by either of the tanks (75 and90 gal) that I would have been able to reach the shelves without having a stool present all the time. I really needed them more in the garage to help with some of the mess, and we already have a couple of upper kitchen cupboards that were on the walls of the garage when we moved in.

Well from what your photo shows, it is a very old in the wall medicine cabinet used back in the 40s and 50s in homes of that era...my parents' house had one a little larger than this but it was a mirror and metal type of cabinet...Do you have an idea of using this for storage of small items? It cannot be hung outside a flat wall of course because of the wood on back...unless you use heavy screws to insert into the wall to hang it....I can see it being painted and looking better than it does but outside of storing some small items in your garage, I do not think it has any purpose outside of that....

Wash it, remove paint, sand it smooth, add paint, don't forget trim and buy hooks and turn that baby into a jewelry box. You can add a velvet pocket or some other pocket for broaches or pins. Add a couple of picture hooks on back and hang it on your wall.

WE have one like this in our upstairs hall. I keep a hair dryer in it for visiting guests. It would be easy to complete this with a back and some more shelves. I also have a drawerless one over my laundry tub in basement. I have two in my back hall for medications. If that were mine I would keep the paint color and all the hardware. You can use this anywhere, kitchen, bathroom, craft room etc. But it is a nice vintage piece and would be eye catching in a common area.

It would look beautiful at the far end of a hallway or stairway.

I'm with garage storage. Excellent for jars or boxes of nails, screws, etc.

This is an awesome piece that would cost $$$$ at a salvage store. I'd keep it, clean it up, paint the interior a semi gloss white, hang it and use it for additional storage in the bathroom over the toilet. Me, I love the green. Best of luck.

I like the original green color but the inside is owwwwweeee! Bleach the heck out of it and paint it some great pop

of color contrast! Add some type of moulding trim around the edge. Popof inside color here too. Hang it somewhere you need storage
