Hi Barb, they would make a gorgeous wind chime or mobile for the garden. You can add a few beads and other wot nots.

Or maybe as towel rods with the right hardware...

get a colored container and glue them on up and down( using clear glue) . Use as a vase etc.

Earring hangers, depending on the size. Just a frame with parallel holes to hang on the wall or make a footed version to sit on a dresser.

You could do the windchime idea (wire wrap around the end that looks flared) and to change it up color them. Alcohol inks stick to glass fairly well you might have to put a clear coat over it (make sure the clear coat doesn't cause the ink to run) Or get stained glass paint.

Add them to small stakes and put them in your garden to add a bit of glitz.

Bundle a few and place them in a sunny spot, see if they create rainbows. Just be on the lookout for focalized light that might burn.

You have so many you can try all kinds of things. How about a log cabin style bird feeder.

I would use them as a wind chimes. Make the ropes at different links and hand in livingroom/family room to make it lighter this winter. They would capture the light.

Be a neat window valance or curtain providing privacy but still letting in plenty of light?

They would be beautiful towel holders, or curtain rods with the right hardware. Do they have holes so that you can attach fishing line to make a windchime?

They are only 6 inches long

Thanks for saying how long the rods actually are, as they look much longer in the picture that you posted.

Perhaps the rods could be used in assembling these pretty Christmas candy ribbon ornaments. The rod could be inserted through tiny holes poked in the ribbon and would hold the shape, instead of the beads, in between each layer.

Or, the rods could be used as a 'trunk' to make these pretty ribbon Christmas tree ornaments.
