You could decoupage them for storage containers, or just paint them.
I use them for home made soap molds. Pour soap after it has come to the "trace" stage and wait 24 hours. Then rip away the potato chip container, slice into bars of soap.
Prepare to have your mind blown...no seriously sit down!!

My husband and I mutually agreed years ago that he does not get into my knick-knacks nor I in his. So, these containers wind up in 2 milk crates in my laundry room, labeled on the caps, holding things from picture hanging supplies, cord, laces, sandpaper, small tools I may need handy, mesh bags from veggies, chair leg caps and felt pads, etc., etc. The crates are on a shelf and the containers face with the yellow caps out making it easy to locate things quickly.
