Hello, if it appeals to you— a bottle tree is the common way to display recycled bottles if you have an available location to install one. I hope this helps!

I recently made a bud vase out of an old wine bottle. I painted mine in more of a modern geometric style, but you could apply whatever style you wanted to yours!
I melt mine in a special papered mold to become spoon rests. Remove all labels. Alcohol bottles with raised logos or letters also turn out well. If you don’t have a kiln, go to a ceramic art center.
Clean off all labels, soaking in water for 30 min. or so will soften the labels so they can be scraped off. Dry bottles thoroughly. Gather up your 1/2 glass marbles. Using E6000 glue, glue on flat marbles in any design you wish. This makes a lovely vase. I love using the cobalt blue bottles or any other color you like.
Thanks for all the replies. I now have a lot of great ideas.
Thanks for all the good answers to the questioner as I would like to try the projects myself. I see different colored painted bottles grouped together that make a nice accent.
