What is the best use for old pallets?

I have a ton of old pallets and not sure what I want to do with them. What's the best project for improving home value or up cycling?

if you have dogs, I've seen them made into raised beds & they turned out really nice. There is a whole section on here for pallets, search "pallet" and you are sure to find something you like!

Well, the best is up to you. But, separating all the slats leaves the options wide open. My favorite project is to leave the pallet in tact and nail it to the studs in the garage. You can store rakes and shovels in it and even add little separators at the top so they stay in their individual spots. I've seen pallets become futons, coffee tables, swings (which by the way would be really cute as a plant holder), even shelves once the slats are taken apart.
