I like the idea of turning them into outside decor as rockets or firecrackers (good for Memorial Day / 4th / Labor Day).
Cut down into circles and use as drawer organizer (underwear or socks).
Cut in half length wise and then into customized sections and hot glue together to be drawer organizer for make up in bathroom. Easy to pull out and rinse off in bath tub when need to clean.
Fill with sand and use them as door stops.
Punch small holes in the lids, fill with de-icer salt, and they can be used to sprinkle your walkway or steps during the winter.
I was saving them to I was going to use them for gift containers and planters cut sideways then hang them together.one on top of another.
Table Legs?
Glue whatever size metal or plastic tray to the bottom of them to make a short-legged table for small children or as a plant stand. The containers can be spray painted any color to coordinate with current decor. The lids help to insure there's no floor damage by the legs.
