What can I do with leftover stone from building a fireplace?

I have a lot of stone left from our fireplace. What can I do with it?

Thought of that but I already have a fire pit and not flat enough for pavers. I’m afraid someone may twist their ankle.
Definitely keep a few on hand for repair/replacement (you never know!). If there are enough, you could make a really nice planter, tree surround or even mailbox with them.

Use them for two front porch planters. Use to make a mailbox post. Use to line a garden bed. Make a short column in front and add address number to a wooden top then top it with a planter and a faux plant you don't have to water.
Hi Sophie's Mom: You can edge your flower garden, or make a flower garden and edge it, stick them together and make flower boxes or little tables for outside, or donate them to Habitat for Humanity.
Use them in other areas of your home...outside for a planter box.
