What to do with lots of flat sheets?

I have a bunch of mismatched flat full size sheets. They are still in pretty good shape so I hate to throw them out. Anyone have ideas.

    Hi Betty,

People have used them as window curtains and they are lovely for that, but you say yours are mismatched! What you could do is cut them in half lengthwise and sew it to another sheet also cut in half lengthwise, creating a pair of curtains that are unique.

Or create a template of pillow case from an existing pillow case and sew the ends to form a new pillow case.

If you are planning to paint, they could serve as a drop cloth.

Here is a link with some potential:

Hi, Cut them up and make little girls' clothes with matching doll clothes and donate a doll with each set of matching clothes to your local shelters, fire departments for fire victims, hospitals, etc. The little ones will love them and the dolls help them find a little peace of mind in stressful situation. Good Luck!!

    Recycle

    Resuse

    Or Donate.

We bought a auction locker and there was a huge box of 16 dozen of Bedding. Mostly sheets .What in the world are we going to do with all of these mismatched items

Used... Well we donated to Our Chuch...The kids will paint on them for the Christmas programs.

    Donated some at a Shelter

Use them as drop clothes when we paint...

    Good luck.

Years ago if they're in good shape I used them line quilts or my grandmother used them to line doll blankets for her grand kids. She was always making us fun things from material or left over pieces of whatever...
