What to do with old vertical blind slats

I have about 40 left white blind slats leftover after replacing them. I could put them in the recycle bin, but I'd rather use them in some way. Ideas?

I’ve seen lovely clocks and mirrors attached to fan shapes of blinds and also Have seen them attached to circles of wood as art/sculpture
Donate them to your local Habitat for Humanity store. Someone wold really appreciate getting the blinds at a good price. The price of blinds, curtains, etc. is outragous.
