What use can I make with all these beautiful Christmas Cards?

Saw a basket wrapped with rolled magazine pages once, and someone mentioned making placements. Any suggestions on how to for these ideas?

I have two cards from my first year in my new home. I cut them down and put them in a bi-fold 5x7 frame. Perhaps a collage frame? -

When my kids were still kids (they're now 42 and 37) I kept a box of odds and ends, including Christmas and other cards that they could cut up and use in making their own cards and other craft projects. -

My mom used to make gift tags out of greeting cards. Since I am an antiquarian I realize that paper products have a value if saved long enough. since I have the room, I save mine in plastic shoe box things. If I particularly like an image, I just scan it into my computer.
