    you can search uses for pallets, or pallet art on google...

    There are many manufacturing companies that throw pallets away. Just need to be sure the pallets weren't treated with some sort of chemical before using.

    Look for pallets that are stamped with "HT" that means they were heat treated and not chemically treated.

    Pinterest has a lot of art ideas for pallet art. I have a board dedicated to it here and pinterest. You can call around to local nurseries, stone yards....and grocery stores..places that bring product in on pallets. You can also keep an eye on the free stuff on Craigs List. As DeDe@Designed Decor states though, keep an eye on what you are using. Even with the HT label, you don't really know what has been stored on it and what has penetrated the wood. A lot of chemicals are palleted.

    Craigslist under free. Did you know that whenever places like SONIC renovate or build, they throw away pallets? Usually, all you have to do is ask, and they'll give them to you.

    If you need a source of pallets try your local industrial estate. Sometimes they are free. :)
