Can I change out my doors on my mobile home with regular ones?

I have a 1994 mobile home and want to change out my exterior and interior doors cans I just get the ones at Lowe’s or do I have to go to a mobile home place?

To place anything add-on into a mobile home, including an archway that interconnects two or more, you need to make two frames, one inside, one outside, both large enough for the door you intend to place to hang freely and open on the hinges.

I replaced all of my interior doors on a 1974 Mobile home that was permanently placed on a basement. I bought the doors at Home Depot (measured before I went and bought them). They fit just fine. I replaced my back door with French Doors from Home Depot too - that took more work because of the size of the project.

Once lived temporarily in a mobile park in FL> Be sure to measure particuarly the width of the inner door frame as most house doors are thicker. we have a mobile home depot here for mobile home parts, etc. and many things can be bought there but there were several mobiles in the park with those oval glass door replacements and other more modern additions. Just MEASURE everthing first.
