Here's how to measure and install perfect fit blinds in UPVC windows.

For an in depth tutorial, please read Perfect Fit Blinds Installation Guide here.

Perfect fit blinds come in a variety of styles and can be purchased at many different blind suppliers.

They're great for anyone who doesn't want to create mess or damage and don't require drilling.

Are Your Windows Suitable?

However, Perfect fit blinds don't work on double glazed windows where they have external beads - only internal ones.

Measuring for Perfect fit blinds

To measure, you need to take 3 width measurements at the top, middle and bottom to get your smallest.

*This measurement is excluding any black rubber seal. ONLY measure the exposed window pane.

Repeat for the height: left, middle and right and only note the smallest one.

Get the Depth Measurement

Now take a credit card or anything with a straight edge and place it on the corner of your internal bead.

Measure from the window to the start of your card and now you can order your blinds.

Build Your Blinds

Once your blinds have arrived, lay everything as so in the pic above.

Now push everything together and place the corner cover caps on top until they click.

Using a screw driver, screw together, including the corner caps.

Hold the built blind to the window and mark with a pencil where the oblong holes are and set the blind aside.

Rub washing up liquid or hand wash on the clips and push them behind the internal bead where the pencil lines are.

Push the blind on the window, where the clips clip inside the blind.

Then add the opening hook on to the blind.

Then repeat for any other blinds you have and that's it!
