Lace Material on Window for Privacy(pinterest)

We live at the beach and our house is very close to our neighbors. In my bedroom, where I have a little vanity area set up, that is the side that is very close to neighbors. I wanted a little privacy without taking away the light from a shade
A few months ago saw on Pinterest, someone had decoupaged lace material to their window. Loved the idea so much.
I got myself some lace and of course I already had the decoupage. I cut the lace to size and decoupaged it on. For some reason the picture is not showing the pretty detail but it looks pretty. I did a demo of it first to see if it would come off when I wanted it down and it came off very easily. The light shines in and I don't see my neighbors. I did leave the top part regular though without the lace so I can look out.

I used corn starch paste to stick my lace to my windows. It looks lovely and no more nosey neighbors watching me through their window! Since I have done this they now keep their shades drawn on that side of their house. And all I have to do is get the corn starch paste wet with a damp sponge if I need to remove it.
