Anyone knowing how to make roman blind from regular mini blinds?

No sew roman blinds made from old mini blinds! Would appreciate anyone's ideas on how to make roman blinds out of mini blinds. I'm on a very small disability pension and cannot afford new window curtains so I was thinking of using the mini blinds I already have on my windows, but they are very dull and ugly.
If there's anyone out there with any knowledge of how to make these, my world would be so much brighter. Many thanks to everyone for their input on this subject.
