I plan on painting designs on old windows and was wondering if glass paint would be able to handle cold temps.

It should withstand the elements if you use an oil based paint. To help further, maybe a sealer. I think an acrylic clear coat should be good for an oil base first layer. I suggest you ask someone in the paint department if this would work.

Hi Sue, If the windows were originally in a house, I would say yes. They are meant for all weather. The paint may fade, so you may want to read to see what it says on the paint container.

    Good luck!

Hi Sue! I can't stand it! Haha! I'm dying to know what you're going to use them for?

I plan on creating a fence using pallets and want the windows to be part of the fence.
