Do anyone know about how many yards of fabric would that take?

If you are asking about the naked window.....not a clue. Barrow a tape measure, measure from side to side in 3 places, then up and down in 3 places. If you are making your own drapes/ curtains how much fabric depends on the style and how full you want them. Check with a local fabric store....the pattern books Should have drapes or curtain patterns. As for the measuring go with the largest of the Section of the window measurements.

I'm afraid without any idea of size of window or fabric and design. I could possibly say. Take your window measurements to a Store and they will be able to help you.

I will give you a Rough Estimate- (You still need to do the measuring before actually buying material)

Your window appears to be about 10 feet long and living room curtains tend to be 82" long. Using those measurements and allowing for hems,

21 1/2 yards of 46" fabric is my estimate. That allows a 4" hem top to bottom and two pairs of drapes.

Along with what Kim said, you need to decide what kind of drapes you want to hang first. Those with pleats need more material than those with the large metal rings.

my couch is just like yours..im trying to brighten it up withpillows..my pillows are as one is brown then cream then brown,,i have brown cushions and the fabric has lines in it..it looks like you combined your pillows and got covers for your cushions..i like it

Here is a fabric calculator for your curtains. I always look for fabric that is 54" to 60" wide. Allow 4 " top and bottom hems. In general if you want full curtains or pleated ones your buy 2.5 x the width of the window, and you usually have your curtain rod go past the windows to when open the window is fully exposed so calculate that extra area in your window width measurement. Your side hems are usually 1-1.5" wide. Its a lot of fabric.

When I was a student I used to wait for the January linen sales and buy the most expensive luxurious sheets I could find and get a few king sized flat sheets.

Curtains & draperies take much more fabric than you might think! First, determine what you want to do to the window. Then do a little shopping to see what's available. Fabrics generally used for home dec are usually 54" wide but often you have only 48 or 50" of usable fabric, because of the selvages. Let's say you decide on full length panels. Each panel will be about 50" wide after you have sewn the side seams. Then measure for your desired length. Again, let's say you want them to go ceiling to floor. If your ceiling is 8' high, that's 96". Add approx another 12" for your top & bottom seams. You are looking at about 3 yards per panel. For fuller drapes, you'd want to have 2 panels together, or at least 1 1/2. Lots of yardage!

Measure measure and measure some more. Make sure you have all the measurements and go to the fabric store. They will help you figure it out. Some retail sales personne l are better then others but you should be able to ask at the customer services desk who would've best to ask.

If you want to make a gathered or full curtain or valance this is a good formula- the width is 3x the measurement of the window. You need to imagine most fabric for home projects is 60 wide.. next figure the length. So if a window is sixty wide you would need 3 pieces of fabric that is th length of the curtains add fabric for header and a nice hem. If you are just wanting curtains you have to decide if how full you want them..simplicity has some great patterns with great explanations. I have made balloon curtains Pricilla curtains and. Figure better to have more fabric Han not enough. They are pretty easy to do just have fun and take your time. Good luck
