Ami1788127 on May 08, 2016Buy extra length cloth and fling it over the rod-- just as you would hang out clothes to dry. Once you have it in place, just staple to prevent it form falling backHelpful Reply

MN Mom on May 08, 2016If you can find the fabric you like in the size you need ( think table cloth, king sized bed sheet, etc) you can lay it out and use curtain ring clips along the top edge. Clip them on evenly spaced and hang the fabric on your curtain rod. You could also hit up a thrift shop or garage sale as lots of people donate or sell their drapes if they have redecorated. Because to measure whatever you're buying to avoid getting something that is not the right sizeHelpful Reply

Jackie on May 08, 2016You can iron a hem with " Heat bond" on just about any material. Then use the rings with clips to hold the curtains on the rod! Easy! Good luck!Helpful Reply

Cameron H Shaqar on May 08, 2016I was given 4 wonderful and helpful ideas!! I'm still a little confused, a king sized sheet is not long enough for 132 inch curtains, I've been going to thrift stores for over 5 minths- 132 inch curtains are not easy to find, table cloths aren't long enough. I wish it was as easy as one reply said it was! However, with these great suggestions I can figure it out! Thank you so much!!Helpful Reply

Pam Walker on May 08, 2016Hot glue, dowel rod & some fabric. Go to Lowe's & they've got dowel rods of all lengths pretty cheap. Get your fabric & measure it to your liking. Lay the dowel rod about 3 inches from the end. Fold the end of the fabric over your dowel & hot glue in place. Hot glue will not harm the fabric (unless it's silk) & as long as you wash it in cold water, it will never come loose. It will hold up to normal washing machine use. Hope this helps.Helpful Reply
