you can buy window film at Home Depot, Lowes, etc,or online. some are just plain frosted for privacy, others are colorful designs that also provide privacy,

The spray first for glass works great. Lowe's has it, but make sure that's what you want to do, because once you spray it on and it dries, nothing will take it off.
I, of course, meant "frost", not "first". Sorry.
Local craft store should have etching cream/liquid.
Blinds, window film, curtains. My vote is for curtains. I don't like anything I can't easily wash.
