An easy solution is shear curtains or lace panels.
You can but a film to put over your windows and it blocks the sun. You can still see out but it blocks the sun.
I use sheer curtains in the summer. Grommet top on round rods so I can open and close them easily to keep the sun glare out in the morning and then I open them in the afternoon when there's shade.
This works great!
