Have them covered w/ thermal window tint to reduce sun. Window/glass place that installs skylights should be able to assist. If area to stretch shade across central base, you could try it. Might bleach out/ sunrot overtime

I have a geodesic dome also. We took some rigid foam and cut it to each window size. Then we covered with fabric by spraying with spray adhesive. When we want it cooler or darker we set them in each window.only issue is you need to store them when you don't want them in place unlike shades or curtains.

Hang a "parachute" or "umbrella" shaped 'curtain' in the bedroom? A large piece of fabric with loops to hang from decorative hooks installed between the windows and in the center area? Quilt "backings" come 108 inches wide and could be 'lined' with "light blocking" drapery fabrics. King sized flat sheets might be large enough.

Maybe for the 'office' window use the insulating foam in sections, like Sue suggested, since it looks like you can reach those easier? Add a 'handle' to each one. Maybe add a small bit of velcro to one corner to hold them in?

Did you ever come up with a solution? I came upon this thread and have the same problem. Geodesic dome, no AC, and the heat in the summer on the top floor is sometimes unbearable.
