You can buy fray check at stores like Michael. Fabric glue might be more suitable to your project.
There are some products to stop fraying that are sold @ Wal-Mart, craft & fabric stores. I so disike sewing buttons back on clothing, that I use it on the threads at the back of the button...the let it dry. Good Luck!
Yes, it is called " fray check."

Sold at any fabric, craft or hobby store.
There is! It is called Fray Check and can be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics and even Walmart. It is a liquid plastic which dries pretty hard so use it in a thin coat but it does a great job. By the way I love the iron on hem tape.
Spray starch can stop fraying. While the fabric is wet and being ironed, smooth the edges that might fray. Repeat every three to six months or when you wash the curtains. Best wishes ☺️
Product called Fray Check should work. Available at fabric stores.
