Is there any way to remove the cloudiness from inside window glass?

Hello! We have a large feature window in the front of our home. Its is 20 panes of glass; 6' tall x 10' overall size. The window (home) was constructed in 1977. The glass panes have that cloudy effect from the seals breaking and the gas and air getting inside. Is there any way to remedy this? Or do we just have to look at having the glass replaced?

Once the seal is broken the glass panel will need to be replaced. May not need to replace the whole window. I know Ace Hardware sells double pane glass panels and also install or have someone install. Otherwise you would need a glass shop.

Thanks for the response. I will start pricing glass panes and reaching out to someone local who can assist with installation.

You will have to look at getting the glass replaced or the entire window. I would compare the cost. Once the seal is broken those are your choices.

At this age, Im not sure a warranty is in effect. The panes may continue to fail.

You may need a new replacement window.

We had this happen to three windows less than 10 years old and were able to get replacements. Our windows were from WindowWorld and had serial numbers and measurement stickers intact.

Not being the original purchaser voided the free replacement warranty —in our case but new inserts were made and installed for a very reasonable cost to completely matched the existing ( brown framed) windows.
