How do I make material roll up shades?

I’ve given up finding a super strong 17’ pole to hang my privacy drapes from that I could pull without 3 center brackets that would prevent pulling all 16’ to one side. Now I’m interested in making my lined drapes into 4 fabric roll ups for each of 4 sliders across the back of my great room. TY kindly for any help.

    Hi, Carolyn,

Did you check with Calico Corners to see if they have a one way draw rod to fit your needs? They do a great deal of custom drapery work, so they may be a source, before resorting to roll up shades. I'm not sure you'd have the same degree of privacy with the roll ups, given the space needed between each roll up rod.

Before you give up on the pole.... check a hardware store and ask for a galvanized pole!!! They come in very long lengths!! And paintable

Electrical conduit pipe for the pole. Two ten foot lengths will give you 20'.
