What's the best way to obscure view at my semi-transparent front door

Are you trying to prevent people looking in? I guess they would have to be pretty near the house for that. there are alternatives to wreaths, like a swag.

If your crafty get a sturdy box and cut it to just about the size of that window and cut another square out in the center and this will be a square shape wreath. Here are a few ideas below to complete that look😍

If your worried that people are looking in at night, I would add a motion-detector light above the door, then when anyone walks up your walkway it will go off and most likely frighten them away.

A wreath should work fine if you are purchasing one for outdoor use. Otherwise there are a variety of hanging door projects on pinterest.

There are magnetic hooks you can buy, if your door is metal. I bought a few at a local nursery, where they sell fancy wreaths.

Have you considered hanging a decorative wreath or hanging on the INSIDE of your door? It will still obscure the view of the interior, but won't be destroyed by the elements, and it adds to your interior decoration.

Have you actually gone outside and determined that something needs to be done to obstruct the view in? I think it is already designed so as to provide privacy. It'd be a shame to cover it up. So pretty and welcoming.

The door is so beautiful I would think you would not want to cover it up. I agree that putting the film on the inside should work and you would still have the pretty door without the see-through window glass.

Con-Tact Brand paper has a line called Metal FX that comes in "stainless steel" it will still allow some light through but doesn't detract from the beauty of the door. I bought mine @ Home Depot but as with everything Amazon also sells it.

There are "one way glass adhesive films the would let I some light yet be opaque from the outside.
