Curtains and blinds become dusty. Trying to overcome that somehow.

There is no way to avoid dust. All you can do is just keep up after it and hope it doesn't get really bad. Honestly I live near a freeway and get dust all the time, so I just wait until it's visible on the curtains, or blinds, and wash them. The windows, just wipe them down every month or so. It's not so bad if you keep after it.
Hi Fran they make window film that is easy to apply just to the glass that would give you privacy.
