For privacy you can apply Gallery Glass. It's a white glue like product that goes on with your fingers, white, dries clear. Awesome inexpensive way to provide privacy and yet let in light. I've done 11 windows in my Florida room and am very pleased with the result. Best of luck.

I had a front door window I wanted to cover but let light in. I bought a kit for making "stained glass" at the local hobby store or department store. It came with many ideas, but we like western scenes and I found a coloring book with pages of the west. I chose a coyote profile howling at the bright orange moon with multi colored buttes in the back ground. It was beautiful and easy! Also you could use a small shear curtain for privacy. You can buy ready made plastic inserts for windows that look like opaque glass and can be removed as easily as put in for privacy. It makes the glass look like bubbled glass. Hope this helps

Contact vinyl has a frosted product. You could also etch the glass yourself. You could even cover each pane with those little pebble glass gems you find at the dollar store. You can glue them with clear glass is and even silicone between them.
