How can I decorate a window to look like stained glass?
Could you spit on a bathroom window that the glass is already upright in the window and seal it to where it would not fade? I want mine to appear like stained glass.

Do you mean the unicorn spit?
You can get pain that's made especially for glass - it comes in all sorts of colors and looks pretty authentic. There's even a product that sticks on windows and looks like stained glass leading. :) That might work best.
If you want some light to get through so it looks like real stained glass I suggest window film. Amazon has an amazing selection of designs and colors.
You might want to check out using something like gallery glass (Michaels) or cling film. Check out this beautiful patter at home depot:

All great suggestions. You can also buy glass paint.
It might be difficult to paint it in the vertical position depending on the paint. It could run and leave you with a mess. I have never used rainbow spit, so not sure. However this tutorial looks good, it uses acrylic paint which is thicker and she did it on lampshade without drips. As far as sealing it goes, I think the durability will come from the product you use and if it's in direct sunlight, you might get fading eventually. Hope that helps some. https://thewhoot.com/whoot-news/crafty-corner/faux-stained-glass
Use stained glass paint instead. You can also put liquid solder on to make it look like the lines of lead came used in leaded glass windows then paint between the lines.
Amazon, . Lowes and Home Depot sell stained glass window film that is fairly easy to put on and looks great. A lot less work than painting
Hi Cecilia, yes it looks like you can seal unicorn spit on glass, just be sure to seal it with the correct material. Good luck on your project. It can be used on wood, canvas, metals, plastic, fabric, glass, laminate and many other surfaces. Please make sure to always seal your initial work with an oil based sealer to protect Unicorn SPiT™ from reactivating (becoming wet again and smearing/bleeding). It is certified non toxic.Jul 2, 2018
