Hi my name is Ruthie and I blog at Refashionably Late. Today I wanted to share with you a way to make your own DIY marble plate with nail polish! I’m obsessed with how quick and easy this project is and how beautiful the outcome is! After you make your own marble plates you will have a marble plate set that you can use for entertaining or even everyday needs!
Lots of glam and elegance packed into one small bathroom makeover! A black and white dream! A gorgeous area for guests to enjoy while they are visiting. The first project I talked was painting all of the trim, woodwork and the door. I used my favorite color called Zurich White from Sherwin-Williams.
Even though I may not be the cleanest person in the world, I love to be organized! Yes, I'm one of those crazy people who love to organize! It makes me super happy! I also get a huge thrill when I get to check something off a to do list. Who's with me?!
This month's challenge we are teaming up with Graphic Stock and creating DIY projects with their amazing collection of stock photography and images. I created my own book storage. For the full tutorial you can head over to Refashionably Late. www.refashionablylate.com
I love making a cup of hot cocoa and snuggling up near the fire during the Holiday season while playing music. There is nothing more traditional or special about the Holidays than listening to Christmas music and getting cozy with a loved one. I am so excited today to be working with Starbucks because I don’t drink coffee every day and I consider it a treat when I go get my favorite drink. To make it even more special the person in front of me today at Starbucks bought my coffee for me! Paying it forward is so important, especially during the Holiday season.
I'm back with another great stenciled pillow project for you from Paint a Pillow, a sister company to Cutting Edge Stencils. Can I say how amazing these pillow kits are? They come all set up and ready to paint. There is cardboard inserted into the pillow to give a hard surface for painting. It is placed inside a kit which holds the stencil in place while painting. It's so easy and then the actual part of stenciling doesn't take that long.
Stenciling your pillow is fairly easy and it comes with instructions on how to do it properly with your pillow kit. You can also find detailed instructions on their website. I would advise, as they share in their directions, to start with the lighter colors first. With my previous pillow I did for Halloween, I didn't use a paint brush and I just used a roller so I didn't need to worry about switching colors. They do work a little differently.
Not only am I teaming up with Cutting Edge Stencils for this project but also with 18 other talented bloggers for our Create and Share Monthly Challenge. We take one item and make something unique with that item. It's so fun to see what everyone creates and man these girls are talented ladies!
I'm here for another round of The Home Depot Gift Challenge! I'm really enjoying teaming up with some of these amazing ladies and really getting my creative juices rolling! In this challenge (if you are new here) we are to take one item from The Home Depot and create something with that item. We are not sponsored by Home Depot; we just love their products and visit them frequently! This month's challenge was all about furniture legs.
This week's One Room Challenge was all about the reveal! I transformed my guest room into an oasis for my guests, workspace for myself, and craft room! It has been my largest transformation thus far in the process of my house. I'm absolutely in love with the transformation.
