My mom and I saw a Halloween throw pillow at Michael's and I knew I could make one for her. Then I thought I would create a second pillow so she could have a fun set to put out every year!
I love mason jar projects. I had seen these awesome bird feeders that include a mason jar and a chicken feeder and I just loved them. So I did my version of this hanging bird feeder. I think it turned out nice.
You can never have enough Christmas/Holiday decor right? Well, I truly don't have a lot but since I have been blogging I have made several great projects to spruce up my holiday decorating. These Ho Ho Ho throw pillows are one of my favorites.
This was a fun project for a Blogging Movie Challenge. We were challenged to create a craft, recipe or diy project based on the Wonder Woman movie. My house is more of a farmhouse decor so I did not know what I would create for this. I decided to take out the glitzy gold from the real Wonder Woman and use a toned down print and make some fun throw pillows.
I have been using Trader Joe's Tea Tree Oil shampoo, conditioner and body wash for years so there have been a lot of empty bottles. I love the shape of these guys and I thought they would make some fun vases.
This was actually part of a summer wedding movie challenge but I wanted to incorporate something colorful and fun for my garden. I chose The Runaway Bride as my wedding movie and created some planters from my old tennis shoes!
My favorite shops are thrift stores and garage sales. I love to find that item that can be re-purposed into something useful and pretty!
