If you read my blog or watch my youtube channel, then you would know that my boyfriend moved in with me this year! As Monica said it in F.R.I.E.N.D.S “Now, I have to live with a BOY!!!” and then starts crying. When I first told my friends and family that Nick was moving in, their immediate reaction was “are you going to change the decor in the bedroom?” My decor before Nick moved in was very girly. I had sparkly gold curtains but it was one of those things that you were so use to the look of it, that you didn’t think twice about it, until it was brought to your attention. Well after taking in recommendations from my friends and family, I decided to change the bedroom and have it become a balance of masculine and feminine. Also, I wanted to share my tips on how to fuse the styles together.
Pinterest made me do it but I have no idea what I am doing! If you have seen my kitchen makeover then you would know that we moved two cabinets from one wall to another. The reason why we did that was because I wanted a dishwasher. The original cabinets were in between the two windows in the kitchen and since there wasn’t enough room for a dishwasher, we had to move the whole unit from one wall to another.
It’s the third episode of Apartment Makeover and we are talking cocktails. Well not really cocktails, we are talking mini bar but what came first the cocktail or the mini bar? A mini bar can give so much warmth and hominess to a home.
Its the second episode of Apartment Makeover and it is all about the kitchen!
The kitchen has received the biggest transformation in the entire apartment. Since I was on a limited budget, there were things in the kitchen that I had to work with, such as… well basically everything I had to work with and keep. However, I was able to keep and make everything my own style.
Chokers are all the rage. (Yes, I used the saying “all the rage”.) I see chokers everywhere, in stores, on tv, and in person on people I know. Some chokers are completely over priced but what people don’t realize is that making your own custom choker is so easy!
This is the first episode of apartment makeover!! I have been working all summer long on this apartment and I have finally had everything filmed in order to edit. This episode is all about renovation. We really put in the work and next episode is all about the kitchen.
Valentine’s Day is quickly coming to you. Valentine’s Day is a day, where you want to show the special person in your life appreciation.
Giving someone a gift on Valentines Day shows that you care. Fellas, I am going to give you some advice. I don’t care, if your girl says “Valentines Day is dumb, I don’t need anything just your love”, I am calling BS. As much as we don’t care, we do! Get your girl a token of appreciation, it will get you far. The gift doesn’t have to cost a lot but we want to know that you care, even a letter is good. We just want you to put some thought into us. No email, not just a text message because that has no effort, you do that everyday, we just want effort! Now with that said, If you want to give a gift, then you are in luck because I have three Valentines Day gift ideas, that anyone would love to receive.
DIY Cell Phone cases!!!! I love how these cases came out, especially the Alice in Wonderland/Wizard of Oz Combo. I love being able to change my cell phone case. This video is to give you inspiration to make your own!
I fell in love with this tufted style headboard, I saw in stores until I saw that the price was $400 dollars! Thanks but no thanks, I can make it myself. I want the headboard to be lightweight so I would feel safe with mounting the headboard to my wall. This whole headboard costed me $26 dollars! You can’t beat that AND its customized by you!
Finally a travel jewelry case that you can fold! I have been doing a lot of traveling and get so frustrated by packing jewelry and then finding out, once I’ve unpacked, everything was all a tangled mess. The last thing you want to do when you are on vacation is taking the time to untangle each piece of jewelry. I wanted to make a jewelry case that was fabric so it would be easy to pack in a jam packed suitcase.
