Chalkboard paint can be used on just about any surface. After painting something with chalkboard paint, It is important to "season" the board before writing on it. If a board is not seasoned, the words written on it will be etched in and not be able to be erased. Seasoning is simply done by rubbing chalk over the board and then wiping it off.
