Have some extra pallets? Come see how we made this gorgeous patio sitting furniture out of pallets. It was so worth spending a couple of days with the project. Our outdoor space is now spacious, relaxing, inviting and super colorful.
This is such a great and easy DIY. I am telling you! It has been on my list to try for so long and finally I got my hands on it. I really only spent a few minutes to pretty up this plain $1 vase.
I love to up cycle things at home. I have way too many wine bottles in the garage and this time I used them as a part of my fall centerpiece. I was wandering around in Target the other day when I spotted these cute little golden apples and pumpkins. I just loved them but I did not love their price. I thought I can pretty much make something very similar using spray paint and decor pumpkins.
Spring isn't coming very soon this year so I try to add happy colors to my home decor so at least I feel spring while at home:-)
My hubby had this awesome idea to grow yummy Florida oranges at home. Yeah, right?
He found a nice tutorial of how to start the growing process with a single orange seed. Anyway, long story short, he finally had the seeds split and he plant them in terra cotta pots and displayed them out in the kitchen window. ...
Phew! This project required a little more time and planning than what I thought it would take. Plus I needed some extra glasses of mimosas as well along the way from start to finish. But it was all worth it at the end of the day because I love the new look of our living room. These billy bookcase built-ins totally changed the room.
We built a PALLET PATIO FURNITURE 2 years ago. The PALLET FURNITURE is kept outdoor all year around, and it looks just like we built it yesterday. Seriously. Very sturdy and there are no signs of weather or wear. The only thing I move to the garage for the winter season is the cushions and pillows. 2 years ago I decorated the space with an orange rug and large orange striped pillows mixed with some colorful smaller pillows.
Last year we transformed our messy playroom into a fun family room. This living room opens directly from our entry way. With the new living room design, I wanted to have an entry way that kind of match our living room style.
Here is a peek of the living room in case you don't remember. And you can see more of the living room reveal on the blog.
I love to decorate on the budget and transform spaces from BLAH to AWE! Come join me in the fun!
