Last year I saw a beautiful pom pom wreath on their website and I remember wanting to make my own version of it for Christmas but I just didn’t have enough time. However this year I had put it in my agenda and came up with what I think was a simply a lovely version of a classic wreath... https://avantimorocha.com/
After putting my Halloween decorations away, it was time to redecorate for Thanksgiving. I was at Hobby Lobby taking advantage of the 50% of on fall décor when I saw these wheat bundles and I was compelled to buy a couple; I knew they’d make a great wreath. This is an easy project and it looks amazing, however, keep in mind it’s time-consuming. https://avantimorocha.com/
December is definitely one of my favorite months of the year (I simply love Christmas and the all of the holiday decorations) and I love making projects to decorate the house or to give as gifts; there’s nothing like handmade gifts to show how much you love someone. These adorable gnomes are so easy to make and look amazing. For this DIY I’ve made my own paper cones but if you don’t have the time or don’t want to DIY then you can buy cones made of paper or foam. Today I’m going to show you how my husband built a window bench with storage for our master bedroom.I’ve had this project burning in the back of my mind for a long time. Initially, I really wanted a window bench with drawers, but we had an incident, you can read more about it on my blog (https://avantimorocha.com) so I decided to ditch the drawers and simply make a bench with a trunk instead.
Halloween is around the corner and now is a perfect time to starting making decorations. I was looking to make a wreath to decorate my front door, something spooky but not scary. While looking for inspiration on Pinterest I saw beautiful wreath from Pottery Barn that really caught my eye. This wreath was perfect and was something that I wanted to purchase however it’s no longer available; it was released last season. While I was bummed that I couldn’t get the wreath at the store, I knew I could make my own and recreate a look I knew was going to be perfect. More... https://avantimorocha.com/
My husband and I’ve worked in our dining room about a year ago, and while it looks lovely we were planning to do a lot more but just haven’t found the time to do it. While the room construction is on hold, there’s nothing stopping me from decorating the walls and improving the room’s natural appeal. With our nine-foot walls being cut in half by the chair rail (boards) I knew finding decorative elements to fit the space wasn’t going to be easy. At first I thought that a little artwork would be perfect for the room, however, I didn’t quite find the pieces I was looking for. After a week or so of searching, I settled on going DIY, which was always in the back of my mind. More info on avantimorocha.com
I love Halloween decorations so much, especially when they're green! I was browsing around Pinterest when I found a beautiful Live Spider Topiary from Pottery Barn. It was something I for sure wanted in my home for the season but then I discovered it was a piece from a previous season and had been discontinued. Being that I DIY Everything, I knew I'd be able to make my own, giving it my own unique spin. List of material and more at https://avantimorocha.com/
It took me a long while but I’ve finally made my own plate wall, which I love. This is a really affordable project and it looks amazing and I’m not sure anyone would be able to guess that something so lovely could cost less than $45. I purchased all of my plates at the thrift store (Goodwill and Salvation Army). Hanging the plates is the most expensive part of this project. I was going to buy dish hangers but after checking the reviews and prices I decided to go DIY.
