I don't know about you, but this time of year the fruit flies are out in full force at our house. To me they are one of the most annoying bugs, and they seem to multiply like bunnies! Apparently female fruit flies can lay up to 500 eggs at a time and their life spans are 40-50 days, during which time they can lay several 500-egg batches. No wonder they are so hard to get rid of!
Our DIY home office is finished! We did everything in this room ourselves, from the hardwood floors, to the built-in desk and bookshelves to the crown molding. The built-ins are definitely my favorite part of this room... they were a labor of love!

After two years in our home we finally got around to installing some exterior lighting and I am so thrilled with how it turned out. This job was SO easy to do. It only took about 2 hours and required no special skills or equipment. The price will vary depending on how many lights you want, but we wound up spending about $300. $300 and 2 hours of time for a BIG IMPACT… not too shabby!
I am thrilled to announce that my long-awaited etsy.com shop, Waffle Bunny Creations is finally open for business! So far I have four items listed (shown below), but I plan to add more in the very near future (including custom family name signs)! This is something I have been thinking about doing for a long time and finally pulled the trigger… very slowwwwly pulled the trigger… who knew how much work it is to open an etsy shop?? I would love it if you could take a minute to check out my shop: www.etsy.com/shop/wafflebunnycreations. You can also shop on my blog at http://movingtothecountryryanhomes.blogspot.com/p/shop.html.
