When I'm not painting furniture, I'm playing around with my paints and finding other things to re-create. Here are two figurines that I started playing with last week.
I have been painting a lot of pumpkins lately. One of my friends asked me to make her some pumpkins with the MacKenzie-Childs patterns. I was a bit hesitant but was so happy I gave this a try. Although the checks were a little time consuming, the pumpkins turned out great.
Painting a checkerboard pattern isn't as hard as it looks. You just need some black and white paint and a stool to paint on. You can also use this pattern on just about anything and achieve a classic checkered pattern.
I wanted to find a really pretty wreath for Christmas. The ones I found were either to "froo froo" or just not what I was looking for. So I decided to make my own. Head on over to your favorite craft store.
