We have been busy here at Vintage Mama's Cottage designing and creating lots and lots of fun projects, but this week was devoted to creating a few beautiful Christmas wreaths.
Here at Vintage Mama's Cottage we've been refashioning all kinds of things for a very long time! Even when I was a little girl, my mama would buy a ladies' coat from our local thrift shop and cut it up to make a new coat for me to wear in the winter.
You can make this beautiful Patriotic Freedom Banner from scrapbook paper and card stock, scraps of ribbons, buttons, and other ephemera you might already have in your sewing room or your scrapbook stash. We found another set of alphabet letters that were just perfect for our patriotic theme from Granny Enchanted, along with several other free printables to add to our collection of red, white, and blue.
Handmade Mother's Day Banner was created using a variety of ribbons, bows, buttons, and lace on sturdy card stock which has been embellished with decorative stitching. This beautiful card features individual letters which have been decorated by hand and then hinged together with three ribbon ties each.
Here is a peek at the first SPRING banner card that I created. It is called “Vintage Spring” and it was created using some scrapbook paper stitched onto card stock tags, and then embellished with odds and ends of ribbons, lace, and vintage buttons.
